Big Goals for 2023: Wk 12/52

The goal is not to read a book, the goal is to become a reader.
– James Clear

01: Purge 1000 items {Status: 745/1000}

This week, I decluttered my mental space. While I this did not change the number in this analytic, I feel lighted.

02: Organize the Attic

A dead HVAC unit prompted more time in the attic this week than we had planned. We now have more of the area floored and removed 100+ feet of unconnected wiring left by the previous homeowners. That’s progress!

03: Read 100 Books {Status: 13/100}

Plugging away!

In Progress

Big Goals for 2023: Wk 11/52

Self care takes effort. It doesn’t just happen. The body and mind need to be maintained. Similar to a garden, without effort, weeds will pop up and overtake everything. With a bit of consistent pruning, the results can be beautiful.

Big Goals for 2023: Wk 10/52

It’s rarely doing the work that is hard, it’s starting the work. Once you begin, it’s often less painful to continue working. This is why—in the beginning—it is often more important to build the habit of getting started than it is to worry about whether or not you are doing enough. – James Clear

01: Purge 1000 items {Status: 725/1000}

After a luxurious vacation, I must admit that this is on hiatus. I’ll start up again this week.

Several items went into the attic — but they were carefully curated and placed in their appropriate new home. We also added a section of flooring in the process. Baby steps!
